The CMS with a built-in encrypted database

Multi-site and multi-domain

Several sites and several domain names in a single installation.

One CMS, several sites, several domain names: each site keeps its identity, and you have a single tool to administer, update and back up.

Several sites

Each site has its name, address, Templates, menus, home article and languages.

Several domains per site

A master domain (the one for search engines) and as many aliases as you like, for example a development domain.

One article, several sites

The same article can be broadcast on several sites, each displaying it with its own Template.

Shared accounts

The same accounts and rights work everywhere; sign-in stays separate on each domain name.

Data tied to the site

Contact messages, registrations and form submissions record their origin site: filter by site, or see the total.

One update

One hosting, one installation, one update: all sites benefit at once.

What it is for

Prepare a site before going live

You work on dev.example.com (alias, not indexed by search engines), then make example.com the master domain. Links follow, nothing is rewritten.

One organisation, several brands

An association and its branches, a practice and its training centre: each with its own site, identity and menus.

An agency, several clients

Several sites on one hosting, with separate rights for each editorial team.

Several names for one site

.fr, .com, old address: all answer, only one is the search-engine reference.

What is shared, what belongs to each site

Shared by all sitesSpecific to each site
Modules and their activationName, address and domains
Accounts, rights and groupsTemplates, menus and home article
Updates and backupsArticles (can be broadcast to other sites) and offered languages
Interface texts and CMS settingsCollected data: messages, registrations, forms

All data of an installation lives in the same database: for strict separation between two customers, install one CMS per customer.

Adding a domain name, step by step

  1. At the host. Add the domain as an alias pointing to the same folder, and check its HTTPS certificate.
  2. In Site management. Associate the domain name with the site you want: a domain belongs to a single site.
  3. Choose the master. The master is the reference (canonical tag, sitemap, feeds). Aliases carry “noindex” unless you decide otherwise.
  4. Work as usual. Content is created in the site, never in an alias; links adapt to the domain the visitor arrived through.
